EU Transport Agenda Unit

is responsible for coordination of all transport matters and space activities that are being negotiated in the European Union at all levels;
assesses all legislative and non-legislative acts and rules before their final approval in the EU with the aim to assure that they are properly analyzed by relevant experts and lawyers and are in compliance with the interests of the Czech Republic;
articulates the position of the Ministry of Transport concerning EU transport and space agenda towards all relevant national as well as EU authorities;
supports expert departments in an active representation of the Czech Republic in EU bodies within the competences of the Ministry of Transport;
assures permanent cooperation with all expert departments of the Ministry of Transport in EU-related affairs.

is responsible for all arrangements, including diplomatic protocol agenda, required
in order to hold a ministerial or expert meeting either in the Czech Republic or abroad;
carries out a legal analysis and methodological, supervisorial, control and monitoring activities in relations to international treaties and other international documents agenda within the scope of the Ministry of Transport;
participates, solely or in cooperation with expert departments, in international treaties negotiations or international meetings;
supports expert departments in an active representation of the Czech Republic in international organizations within the competences of the Ministry of Transport;
acts as a main contact point for communication with foreign embassies, state institutions, authorities regarding international relations of the Ministry of Transport.
- is responsible for planning, supervising, smooth organization and arrangements
of foreign business trips.
