The new D1 motorway section by Jihlava has opened for drivers after two years again
13/8/2018Press releases

The last technical inspections took place between Jihlava and Velký Beranov, confirming that the section is safe for driving. RSD removed all traffic restrictions during one weekend and the section is now in normal use. There are still final works to be done here, but they will not affect the motorway traffic.

The new D1 motorway section by Jihlava has opened for drivers after two years again

This is the first of the four modernised sections to be opened during the next two months. Sections Velké Meziříčí – Lhotka, Hořice – Koberovice (both will be opened in September) and Ostředek – Šternov (to be opened in October) will follow. The total length of these sections is 20.35 km. This means that at the end of 2018 drivers will have 90 km of the D1 motorway modernised, i.e. 13 sections out of 20 will be completed and two under construction.
