On 8 July 2022, the Transport Programme 2021-2027 (OPD3) was officially approved by the European Commission. The approval of OPD3 is a very important signal that the financing of the ambitious objectives set by the Czech Republic in the field of transport will be at least partly covered from subsidies from the Transport programme. The funding of OPD3 projects will be provided mainly through the Cohesion Fund and also the European Regional Development Fund.

The approval of OPD3 completes several years of preparation and negotiations and all key actors will now be able to fully focus on the actual implementation.
