The final step of the project preparation, i.e. documentation to obtain building permit, needs to be taken to launch the construction of a new railway route Praha-Ruzyně – Praha-Václav Havel Airport. Správa železnic (the national railway infrastructure manager) intends to announce a public procurement for the documentation contractor. The documentation will also include a Building Information Modelling (BIM). The construction of the railway track should begin in three years. A part of the construction will also be a railway station Praha-Dlouhá Míle with a car park and a bus terminal.
From 19 April 2021, drivers who accidentally bought an e-vignette for a non-existing number plate can request a refund. This option applies to those, who filled out a wrong country of registration or replaced number “0” by letter “O”, as well as to foreign drivers.

The State Fund for Transport Infrastructure (SFDI) along with the Ministry of Transport and state enterprise CENDIS prepared instructions on how to proceed in cases when drivers accidentally purchased an e-vignette for a non-existing number plate. People will have the option to request a refund for such payment.
The Ministry of Transport publishes preliminary transport statistics for 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we can see a visible drop in passenger transport. Number of passengers in rail transport decreased by 30%, in bus transport by 35% and in air transport by 84%. The Ministry will publish final data in an annual report this June.
