Traffic offences committed abroad

If you commit a traffic offence in abroad, e.g. for speeding, you will then receive a notification to pay a fine. Since each state has different rules and conditions, in case of questions you need to refer to the authority, which imposed the fine. You can also contact the Czech embassy in the given state.

List of all Czech embassies is available here.

Because fines for violence of traffic rules on roads are usually high abroad and relevant enforcement authorities are strict, we recommend resolving the notification to pay a fine as soon as possible.
